A common task when restoring a classic Kawasaki motorcycle is to replace the fuse box. Over time, the plastic boxes that keep the glass-tube fuses safe on these machines will degrade. If rain and weather have access to these fuses, they will wreak havoc on the wires and the fuses’ metal caps.
The clips in the fuse box that holds those caps tend to loosen with age, and the resulting weak contact will make your vintage electronics unreliable. Our KZ650, KZ900 and KZ1000 fuse boxes eliminate those concerns once and for all. We also have the Z1 fuse holder – for solitary fuses – and the Z1 handlebar switchblock, which also tended to degrade over the years.
