Vintage Motorcycle Clutch
If your classic Kawasaki is slipping out of gear, or if it crawls forward when stopped, the first step is to adjust the clutch. If adjustment fails to correct the problem, it may be time to renew the friction plates. We have Z1 clutch springs and friction plates (fiber and metal), available separately or as a set, as well as clutch plates and clutch springs for other vintage Japanese motorcycles.
Complete you KZ rebuild with KZ clutch pushrods and KZ clutch springs, and be sure to upgrade to a KZ clutch pushrod roller kit, which eliminates the possibility of welding the pushrod to the mushroom. Or you can modernize your clutch with a Z1 hydraulic clutch kit, and never have to maintain a clutch cable again.
