Tired old shocks cause dangerous handling. Not only do the springs soften with age, but the damping disappears when the seal starts to leak out the damping fluid. If you see a tell-tale dirt line around the shock piston, you know it's time to replace those.

Progressive provides a selection of springs to accomodate riders heavier than 200lb, or those riding with passengers and/or bags most of the time.  See related items for those options.

Shipped unassembled.  See related items for the Progressive Shock tool - a great add to the tool box.

90/130 - what does it mean?  These are the spring rates - with 90lb needed to compress the spring 1" and 130lb to compress deep into the travel.  The higher the spring rate, the stiffer the springs.

Shorter shocks?  We have those too - check the different length options we offer  Just make sure you select eye-to-eye - and be aware shorter shocks reduce ground clearance - so you can drag pipes and stands easier.  Plus very short shocks can cause the tire to hit the frame under the seat when compressed.
